About the project:
Chorão, the leader of the renowned rock band Charlie Brown Jr. and one of the greatest pop personalities in Brazilian history, left a significant legacy that was portrayed in the feature-length documentary "Chorão: Marginal Alado."
As one of the co-writers and the editor of the film, I contributed significantly to bringing the narrative to life, spanning decades of success and Chorão's unique journey. The film received notable recognition, including the award for Best Brazilian Documentary at the São Paulo International Film Festival in 2019, and is currently featured on Netflix.
During its release weekend, the documentary topped audience preferences in Brazil across all streaming platforms, surpassing even international productions. This project not only celebrates Chorão's life and music but also highlights my essential role in creating a work that resonated with the Brazilian audience and beyond.
